Auction2Africa.com to Train & Recruit 100,000 Africa Youths on Cross-Border Ecommerce

A Tony Elumelu Entrepreneur startup, Auction2Africa.com has commenced the seller training and recruitment of 100,000 tech-savvy Africans in cross-border ecommerce that will ultimately make them successful self-employed ecommerce entrepreneurs on their revolutionary global marketplace, Auction2Africa.com.

A total of 379 has participated in the FREE training via Whatsapp in a series that commenced on April 13, 2019 and is still ongoing for now.

A CBN-Licensed epayment company in Nigeria, VTNetwork Limited, owners of the Mobile Payment/Mobile Money brands VTN and VCash, sponsored 100 out of these trainees and we are still counting.

For about 2 decades most ecommerce enthusiasts from Africa were practically marginalized from fully partaking in cross-border ecommerce due to the activities of a few bad eggs online. To buy products Nigerians had to beg to make payment, you get rejected with responses like “sorry, we do not accept payments from your country” or “sorry we do not ship to your country“, even with your hard earned money! You dare not even try to sell online to these markets.

The trainees of this program will become sellers on the platform after being equipped with the knowledge, skills and acumen needed to sell products across borders and make steady decent profits using the internet. They will be empowered to source products from anywhere in the world and sell to anywhere in Africa as well as source locally-made Nigeria/Africa products and sell to foreign markets to earn good incomes.

From dropshipping online to accessing local manufacturers, craft makers etc, they will become experts in sourcing offline/online and selling products online globally.

What the beneficiaries get FREE:

  1. A comprehensive training on cross-continent or cross-border ecommerce covering exporting locally made products to the U.S.A specifically as well as importing products from the U.S.A to sell to Africa using dropship: delivered electronically – whether live online training or downloadable PDF and related materials. The training content is divided into two parts:

PART 1

Module 1: General overview of exporting products found, made or crafted in Nigeria to overseas, with special emphasis on the U.S.A. It equally covers selling products from the U.S to buyers in Africa through Dropshipping

Module 2: We go in-depth on the mini exportation of the Africa-made products, packaging, shipping, payment and starting small etc.

Module 3: Here we focus on four more alternatives to sourcing products from the U.S, wholesale suppliers, manufacturers and dropshippers. How to access them and their products, and sell to Nigeria or ret of Africa for guaranteed profit per sale.

PART 2:

Step-by-step screenshot-loaded Manual of:

  1. Creating & Setting Up of your FREE online Store on A2A and
  2. Listing Products on A2A

As we speak a total of 90 serious vendors have been approved among them and are in a special whatsapp group. They are now listing their products and selling on Auction2Africa.

Optional

Approval and ongoing maintenance of their A2A vendor/store account attracts a one-time fee of N1000 if paid here and now, or N2500 if paid after accessing the training.

So you can access the training FREE without paying a kobo but if you decide to pay now, (which we recommend), you save N1500 and get to pay just N1000 (instead of N2500) for your vendor and store account approval and maintenance.

Space available: Only the first approved 1000 sellers per state ONLY

After the first 1000 registered and approved vendors from each state, we will stop acceptance into the program.

You dare not even try to sell online to these markets. All those are history now because on Auction2Africa.com, everything (buying and selling) except fraud is possible, trust is mutual and both buyers and sellers get equal respect and protection.

As we speak, sellers from the world e.g the U.S are listing products on Auction2Africa.com while sellers from Africa are also listing products for foreign sales, whether  to other Africa markets or across borders and oceans to the world.

Payment and shipping issues that are always bottlenecks for transactions like these have been taken care of with the use of standard payment processors and global brand courier services.

So if you have been thinking it is only people based in developed worlds like the Americas and Europe that can build wealth from ecommerce, think again, and don’t don’t just think, take action.

The training cost N1000 per participant and has commenced in the second quarter of 2019 as planned. However, registration for it is still open and will close once we get the targeted number per state (Nigeria) and per country (Rest of Africa). That can happen anytime considering about 400,000 – 5 million are reading this right now.

The eCompreneur Training program is delivered 100% electronically.

According to a Africa-OnTheRise publication, in February 2019, the Mastercard Foundation in partnership with BFA released “Digital Commerce and Youth Employment in Africa” a new research that shows 80 million young people will benefit from the rise of digital commerce in Africa by 2030.

Also, according to DHL, emerging trends shows there were 1.6 billion shoppers online in 2018 and $900 billion is projected to be spent on cross-border purchases by 2020 – three times the figure of 2015. A $3.4 trillion figure is estimated for global ecommerce sales by 2019. Consumers are getting more and more familiar with buying something cross-border and DHL forecast a 25% cross-border ecommerce growth by 2020. With 58% of internet users projected to be buying online by 2019, Africa is set to have her share of the cake via this Auction2Africa.com Limited’s initiative.

Auction2Africa Limited was among the 1000 best startups selected by the TEF in 2016 and has been working tirelessly to democratize the global ecommerce opportunity without discrimination. Manufacturers, sellers, retailers from countries like U.S, U.K, Canada etc can now securely list and sell their products to Africa buyers while sellers from Africa can equally sell Africa-made products to Africa and rest of the world on their free store, all from Auction2Africa.com Limited.

This training will groom a new generation of skilled ecommerce sellers from Africa that will built knowledge and wealth and shape Africa’s future ecommerce landscape.

On January 1st, 2019, a letter came to us from our great Tony O. Elumelu, CON  wit the title “5 Years of Spreading Luck – Everyone Needs a Little Help”. In this letter, TOE said

So, when I am asked, “Tony, why are you and your family doing this? What is in it for you?” I smile and recount my own story of luck. Luck is real, it is powerful, and I am committed to spreading it as far as I can. I am a beneficiary of luck, and I am passionate about sharing it across the continent, to all 54 countries.

Auction2Africa become a beneficiary of this luck in 2016 because our great philanthropist decided to democratize it. We are hoping you will chose to become a beneficiary of this training opportunity, which some “gurus” sell for N25,000 – N40,000 per trainee.

      Hello Dynamic,

Yes the ecompreneur training is still very much on and as you can see from the updated version of the post, we have trained almost 400 participants so for.

However, the dimension of the training has been modified and changed to digital downloadable delivery of the training materials as against the live training modes we used to train the first three batches mentioned above. The process of the change is what caused the delay in our response to your comment. So please accept our apologies for that.

Opening an A2A vendor account and online store is inevitable if you want to participate in the program.

For the payment clarification, make a payment of N1000 ahead of time for the approval of your A2A vendor (seller) account, which you will use to sell online to the U.S.

We will forward your the PDF and related training material via email within 24 – 48 working hours.

If you’d prefer you get the FREE training materials first and you later decide to get your account approved, you will pay N2500 (formerly N1900), not N1000.

The fee is for the approval and ongoing maintenance of your seller account. It is not for the training materials. The training materials are FREE.

You can pay online on this link https://paystack.com/pay/discountedfee

There is only room for 1000 participants per state.

We hope this clarifies things for you.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

      Warm regards.
